In this episode of the NPD Forecast Podcast, Jose Arnold Tariga, PhD, MSN, RN, CNE, NPD-BC, NE-BC, CPHQ, FFNMRCSI, an experienced internationally educated NPD practitioner, discusses how NPD practitioners can support internationally educated nurses (IENs) working in U.S. healthcare systems. Jose Arnold Tariga, PhD, MSN, RN, CNE, NPD-BC, NE-BC, CPHQ, FFNMRCSI

Dr. Jose Arnold Tariga is an internationally educated nurse with over 16 years of experience in clinical and educational settings across the globe. He recently completed a post-doctoral certificate in medical teaching from Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Tariga a certified nurse educator, nursing professional development specialist, and nurse executive. He has been invited as speaker for various nursing organizations including ANPD and Sigma. Dr. Tariga also serves on the executive boards of PNA New England, Society of Internationally Educated Nurses in North America, and the National Consortium of Academic Nurse Educators. He was recently admitted as a Fellow to the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Dr. Tariga is currently the director of clinical education and development at InsightGlobal Health and an adjunct faculty at Salem University’s School of Nursing.
